“A squatter makes her way up to a long-forgotten flat above a shop in the centre of Brighton. A flat full of someone else’s past. A women’s hip bone lies on the side, amongst diaries, letters and clutter. In a tale of addiction, sexuality, mortality, choices and enlightenment, she embarks on a journey to discover how one might avoid dying alone, and losing one’s hip bone in the process.”

“She famously rose to prominence at the tender age of 13 and has since become “a country music force to be reckoned with” (PPcorn), steadily amassing a raft of awards for her work in the country music genre and selling more than 44 million albums worldwide. “Quite possibly the greatest animated feature you've probably never heard of. Jankovics' film is a psychedelic odyssey of colour and movement the likes of which cinema has never seen before or since. Prepare to have your mind absolutely blown!”

“Born on the tiny Island of Guernsey, Gomes channels influences from both sides of her ethnicity, blending the essence of the traditional, emotional and ‘larger than life’ Fado folk music with British contemporary inspiration. Her debut album Diamonds & Demons (released October 2016) revealing a series of intricately detailed, hauntingly atmospheric and lushly textured avant-ballads. An authentic and heartfelt search for light, depth, hope and truth. It fulfils Nessi’s wish to deeply touch and shake the audience, to stir and shift something within them, to speak of the uncomfortable so that it may pass, and to expose and sing the human experience to its fullest expression.”
