“After Sylvia is an anthology of new writing celebrating the work and legacy of Sylvia Plath. Published by Nine Arches Press in October 2022, the book honours the 90th anniversary of Plath’s birth through a range of compelling poems and thought-provoking essays by leading and up-and-coming poets and scholars from the UK and beyond. This vital anthology sets out to help dispel the myth of Sylvia Plath as tortured genius destined to her fate, by expressing the power and complexity of her work, legacy and reputation as one of the most important and influential writers of the 20th century.”

“Cuculi Presents a very special debut performance from cross-cultural folk duo Tamsin Elliott (UK) and Tarek Elazhary (Egypt), sharing new pieces composed for lever harp, accordion, whistles and Arabic oud. Both highly acclaimed in their respective folk traditions, this spring marks a turning point in their collaboration as Tarek joins Tamsin in Bristol for a month of writing and recording, culminating in this one-off performance at The Greenbank to preview their new work. Support from flamenco guitarist (and Solana bandmate) JP Wolfgang, who'll be performing a mix of traditional pieces and original compositions inspired by the detailed gestures and agile harmonies of the flamenco form.”

“Led by drummer and percussionist Ben Brown, Waaju’s unique and divergent sound connects the dots between West African and Latin music with a playful and deft musicality that embraces Moroccan Gnawa to Caribbean carnival music mixed with different layers of London’s own musical culture. Waaju's members also perform with the likes of: Nubiyan Twist, Alfa Mist, Ashley Henry, Jordan Rakai & China Moses to name but a few... We've been loving their tracks and trying to bring them to Bristol since their self-titled debut album came out in 2018.”
