Goodrich/Paul Bradley at Friendly Records
See event details

A gig held at Friendly Records on Thursday 20th July. The event starts at 20:00.

Montreal songsmith Goodrich made his home in Bristol 20 years ago and has been a fixture on the scene ever since. His dark and romantic missives, works of poetry in themselves, are furnished by a handsome voice and technical mastery of his Spanish guitar. Fresh from his Glastonbury appearance, Goodrich brings a solo set of songs from his latest album ‘The Last Bastard’, along with some new unheard material.

Paul Bradley is the West Country’s only wholly-improvising composer. Songs and soundscapes are birthed in the moment, and audiences are consistently bemused and bedazzled by the sheer level of spontaneous genius emanating from Bradley’s free-wheeling guitar and bubbling vocal tones. Expect sparks.

“Bristol’s Finest Musican” - Guitarist Magazine
“Consistently captivating” - Guardian
