See event details

A gig on Friday 21st February. The event starts at 19:30.

After the astounding success of the last gig, the dogs are back on Friday 21st February at Grounded in Fishponds!

Greg Sterland & His Yard Dogs will be playing an array of Greg's arrangements of lesser known jazz tunes from 1930's - 50's. There'll be plenty of room to dance and party the night away with also seating available.

To begin the night we’ll be showcasing an exciting new selection of outstanding up-and-coming musicians who will be putting their skills to practice whilst gaining valuable performance experience. Make sure to arrive early to show your support.

Tickets available on Headfirst or on the door for £8 but please pay what you can as you're supporting up and coming musicians in the Bristol music scene

We have been delighted to work with Grounded Fishponds at their weekly jazz night on a Thursday ( 7.30pm - 9.30pm), which is just becoming more popular each week as word spreads. The people who recently took over this venue have been doing some amazing work supporting the live music scene and it is fast becoming a hub for music and particularly jazz in Bristol. They also have a new menu offering delicious morsels. Be sure to book ahead by phoning Grounded if you fancy food and a table.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
