*** THIS MONTH we have a super special Shag workshop lined up before the Sunday Social! The fabulous International Teachers Jim & Nicky will be getting us Shag ready for Legs Misbehave, Bristol's very own Bal, Shag and fast Lindy exchange on 24th July*** This is a workshop not to miss! If you have ever been lucky enough to attend one of Jim and Nicky's classes you never forget what great teachers they are! Loads of fun, loads of teqhnique, all round brilliant!

Their teaching is always clear and concise and their love of musicality shines through.  When they are not teaching at dance camps they teach regular weekly classes in Gloucestershire and draw students from all parts of the country. See swingbytesdance.com

The workshop will be for those who have danced shag before and don't have to think about their basic footwork pattern. Expect fun variations, exiciting combinations and moves to take straight onto the dance floor!

After the workshop(2-4pm), when you have got your breath back, there is our usual friendly, relaxed social dance for all from 4.30-8.00pm, with an accent on faster music. In the first hour you can expect plenty of medium tempo, swingy tunes for the Lindy hoppers to ease you in. Thereafter more hot tunes will be thrown into the mix   for the Bal, Shag and Solo dancers out there!!

Come and join us! You can book a Sunday Lunch beforehand or there are Pizzas and snacks available at the bar if you get hungry!

Dances generally take place on the first (sometimes second) Sunday of the month with occasional Bal, Shag or Lindyhop workshops beforehand, which can be booked separately. Watch this space for details.
