Blurb:

Faze Action have been pivotal in directing the modern disco sound since day dot, releasing a series of 12 inches on the influential Nuphonic label in the mid 90s including the classic'In the Trees' and more recently their critically acclaimed'Stratus Energy' album released on their own label FAR, amongst an army of recent remixes. But it's at their live gigs where Faze Action's music really comes alive with their 6 piece band, being one of the few acts that can translate their music from the studio onto the live arena. With Robin returning from Japan in 98 Faze Action live was born, taking in well over 100 gigs, including the legendary live shows at Glastonbury and tour support for Groove Armada. More recently Faze Action have been playing electrifying gigs at Fabric's Room 1 with Tim Sweeney, The Milk in the park festival, Garden festival in Croatia, Moscow Solyanka and many more. They are fast gaining recognition as one of the hottest live acts to come out of the ever growing London disco scene.

Penguin Prison's irresistibly quirky sound resides somewhere between the likes of Hot Chip, Hall and Oates, Ultravox, Wham and the Jackson 5. Born and raised in Manhattan, the mecca of musical endeavors, Chris Glover aka Penguin Prison has never been short of inspiration. Raised on a healthy diet of Michael Jackson, Prince, A Tribe Called Quest, Nat King Cole, Nirvana and Weezer, he soon began to channel such influences, and feeding them into his own musical meanderings, that led him toward a sound that combines classic influences of pop, soul and rock and roll.
