A
event
held at The Ill Repute
on Sunday 29th March. The event starts at 19:00.
Fistful of film presents “Django”.
“He killed for gold… He killed for his women… He killed for himself”.
A month on from our showing of ‘The Great Silence’, Corbucci is back with a film you won’t forget.
The original Spaghetti Western, Franco Nero is “Django” in his breakout role as a union solider turned drifter embroiled in a feud between confederate redshirts and a band of Mexican revolutionaries.
Grab a drink and watch the coffin-dragging gun slinger as he navigates the violent feud in the cult classic which was refused certification in the UK until 1993.
++ Downstairs at The Ill Repute
++ Film starts at 7pm
