Boogie Café brings it's signature sound of Jazz, Broken Beat, Nu/Jazz and House to the Jam Jar!
Boogie Cafè is an independent record label and DJ crew with an 11-year history, focused on broken beat, nu-jazz and house. Co-owned by Alex in Bristol and Chezz in Rotterdam, the music policy centres on groove-led, rhythm-driven tracks with strong musicality, drawing from jazz, soul and funk influences.
Joined by Roo, a selector dedicated to unearthing and sharing roots-driven dance music. With a particular love for house, broken beat and boogie, you would be pushed to find a mix which is not inspired by her admiration of soulful and deep flavours.
Matica brings a fearless approach to style, genre, and sound. As a DJ, producer, and composer, Matica is currently signed to Tru Thoughts and Dance Regular, with releases on Coopr8, Shall I Bruk It, and Boogie Café to name a few.
