Boogie Café is an independent record label and DJ crew with an 11-year history, focused on broken beat, nu-jazz and house. Co-owned by Alex in Bristol and Chezz in Rotterdam, the music policy centres on groove-led, rhythm-driven tracks with strong musicality, drawing from jazz, soul and funk influences. To date, the label has released over 50 records and hosts several parties each year across various venues in Bristol and Rotterdam. Over the years, Boogie Café has worked with artists including DJ Nature, Atjazz, Sean McCabe, Aroop Roy, Lay-Far and Javonntte, among many others.
