A clubnight held at The Trinity Centre on Friday 18th September. The event starts at 23:00.
Operation Joyful Behaviour ...
We are bringing Pangea back to the reason why we started it in the first place.
A dancefloor built for joy, curiosity & music that makes you feel good to your bones.
We have something incredibly special planned for this party.
LIVE MUSIC:
Boubacar Samake & Seydou Kienou - Playing traditional music from Mali & Burkina Faso.
This will be raw, emotional & seriously good for dancing.
Wildtune Irish Session Band - Playing jigs n reels, they are sh*t hot & full of craic, bring your dancing shoes and maybe a towel for this.
THIS IS WHERE IT GET'S EXCITING:
We have asked the 2 bands to collaborate for a 1 off special.
They will improvise and speak through the common language of music.
It will be a musical meeting of West Africa & Ireland.
I have never heard anything like this live and knowing these musicians, I can only imagine how special this is going to be.
