Real Lies + Bonsi at Jam Jar
See event details

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Friday 22nd October. The event starts at 20:00.

Electronic duo Real Lies play “euphoric songs evoking long nights dancing and even longer drives back home to the suburbs” (The Guardian).

Having released their 80s’ inflected debut in 2015, their long-awaited follow-up ‘Lad Ash’ is due imminently.

After the departure of their third founding member Tom Watson, Kev Kharas and Patrick King took some time to regroup and the duo’s newer material is reflective of this shift.

Their characteristic sound, however, is still there.

Namely “Kharas’ winding, narrative-led lyrics, nostalgic, rave indebted instrumentals and the afterparty wistfulness that ties it all together” (CRACK).

This is a standing Bristol Beacon presents show at Jam Jar, Unit 4a, The Old Malt House, Little Ann St, Bristol BS2 9EB.

Ages 16+ (Under 18 to be accompanied by Adults)
