The Jam Jar is proud to present João Selva and his incredible band who will take the stage this Autumn with a swirling blend of Samba and elements of Jazz, Funk and Soul for the dancefloor.

A native of Rio de Janeiro, João Selva is an exponent of the Brazilian Tropicália movement and has brought a joyously popular yet avant-garde approach to his impressive melting pot of musical exploits in Brazil and Europe.

With his partner in crime Bruno Patchworks (also one of our favourite producers and artists!), he is currently in France working on his third album to be released in 2023 by Underdog Records.
