Solana - Dila V & The Oddbeats - The Jam Jar
A gig held at The Jam Jar on Saturday 20th April. The event starts at 20:00.
This April we have the return of Solana. They've successfully sold out the venue twice in the past and we can't wait to hear they're new material.
Solana’s sound is lead by flutes, violin, accordion and Spanish guitar, and takes influence from such diverse greats as Tigran Hamasyan, Kíla, Paco de Lucía and Dhafer Youssef. Their latest release CAMINO received the following praise:
“Their music ranges boldly from klezmer melodies, tingling tango, exuberant Irish folk and swinging jazz to pumping reggae and lilting Latin […] thoroughly invigorating” — Songlines
