DJ Bashmal is a producer and immersive artist who began his career on pirate radio and continues to champion independent platforms for breaking new music. His sound-driven DJ journeys fuse Afrobeats, Dancehall, Latin fusion, and global dance influences, with a focus on wellbeing and healing through sound. He has played venues from The Standard in Los Angeles to UK festivals and clubs, with past productions featured on DJ EZ’s BBC Radio 1 and Kiss FM shows. He is Chair of the Diverse Artists Network, a Void resident and a Ujima radio takeover DJ.
