A
gig
held at The Jam Jar
on Sunday 19th November. The event starts at 19:00.
Ruth Theodore's music, once discovered, is something you'll want to return to - it gets better and better with time. For lovers of exquisitely crafted lyrics, melody, and songs that take you on internal journeys and play scenes clearly in your mind like a film; this is for you.
Ruth will be releasing two singles from her upcoming fifth studio album, and will be joined on stage by her full band, including award winning Zimbabwean bassist Edith Weutonga and scottish/spanish singer-songwriter Harry Bird.
RYDE, a new duo composed of Arran Glass (Apple of my Eye) and Bronte Shande (Lead Vocalist for the original Amy Winehouse Band), will also be performing some brand new creations. Their music is delicate but captivating, with closely interwoven harmonies and songs that allow you to you pause for reflection. A beautiful mix of melancholy, silver-lined and gilded with hope.
