Join us and Bearpit to celebrate the longest day of the year with a night of live folk music, spinning partners, and sweaty, laughter-filled dancing as we celebrate midsummer together. Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned ceilidh regular, everyone is welcome on the dancefloor.

Bearpit is a trans and non-binary powerhouse trio shaking up the ceilidh scene with their infectious rhythm and unapologetically queer energy.

Born out of their electrifying debut at Bristol Pride Ceilidh 2025 and organising ceilidhs for Greenbank Folk Club, Alex Garden (guitar), Rhiannon Takel (fiddle), and Will Bremner (accordion) combine years of musicianship with a shared love of making inclusive, accessible, joy-filled dance spaces.

Their sound is big, rowdy, and irresistibly danceable — tight tunes rise over driving guitar to accompany only the best hand-picked dances from their callers.
