Experience the rise of Permanent (Joy), the new indie rock project from former members of Liverpool band Blondes.
After a viral hit and UK tours, founders Alex and Dan reinvent their sound with a moodier, surrealist edge, joined by drummer Dave Annis and bassist Noah Roche. With three singles released and recent support slots for Franz Ferdinand, Blossoms, and Inhaler, they’re gearing up to release their debut EP this spring.
Catch Permanent (Joy) live in Bristol, supported by SMO a Dublin based singer songwriter as well as local alt rock talents Chasing Dolls and Ladye.
Ladye:
Ladye are a Bristol-based three-piece fusing shoegaze, 90s grunge and melodic indie-rock. Their debut single People of Summer—produced by Tom Rees (Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard) and mastered by Hippy at Metropolis—layers dreamy guitars with raw, heartfelt vocals, moving between hazy intimacy and expansive fuzz. Described by Headfirst as “lush, woozy and full of 90s indie sentimentality,” Ladye are carving their space in the UK alt scene. FFO: Alvvays, Wolf Alice, atmos bloom.
Don’t miss this chance to see one of indie rock’s most exciting new acts alongside Bristol’s best.
