Sheelanagig for over a decade have brought their array of foot-stomping folk tunes to audiences across the globe. A quintet with a well-stocked armoury of stringed instruments – guitar, fiddle, double bass – added with the rhythmic energy of flute and drums and a bagful of joint-jumping tunes, these boys from the South-West England create a real dynamic which is inherent in both their furious dance medleys as well as their interestingly arranged original pieces.
Putting the groove into a selection of traditional and original European Folk music dating from the medieval times to present day, it’s difficult – nay, impossible – for your limbs to remain stationary when you’re within earshot of them in full flight. The fact that they often play with a knowing wink shouldn’t obscure their impeccable technique, and outstanding musicianship that raises the roof in every place they play.
In recent history they have toured France, Switzerland and Australia as well as remaining a firm fixture on the UK festival season, they recently were featured on a full live session on Mark Radcliffe’s BBC Radio 2 Folk Show.

Will Page
Well known as the fiddle playing front man of Americana band, Noble Jacks, Will Page is a folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Sussex. Inspired from a young age after seeing Dave Swarbrick (Fairport Convention) perform live at his local village hall in Chiddingly (East Sussex), Will has continued Swarbs’ legacy of British folk fiddle playing into the modern era. Later discovering his melodic singing voice, Will began to combine singing with his fiddle playing (and other instruments) in a style reminiscent of artists such as Seth Lakeman and Jon Boden (Bellowhead).
As a young fan of the likes of The Waterboys and Levellers, Will experimented with alternative styles and sounds, and when he began writing his own songs, Noble Jacks was born to take these songs to the stage. With Noble Jacks, Will has toured relentlessly with sold out shows across the UK and beyond, with notable festival performances at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival and Cambridge Folk Festival to name a few. In 2019 Noble Jacks performed at Americana Fest in both London and Nashville TN and Will was nominated instrumentalist of the year at the AMA (Americana Music Association) UK Awards in Jan 2020.
In April 2022, Noble Jacks exploded back onto the live scene with a brand new studio album, Last Of The Wild, which entered the Top 40 Official Americana Album chart on its first week of release. With three studio albums under his belt with Noble Jacks, Will is now also recording and performing as a solo artist, showcasing his more traditional folk-style writing and playing style.
