Bearpit returns for their 3rd and final ceilidh of the year. If you have attended any of their ceilidhs, you know that they know how to get the crowd moving. These ceilidhs have quickly become a Jam Jar favorite.

Whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned ceilidh regular, everyone is welcome on the dancefloor.

Bearpit is a trans and non-binary powerhouse trio shaking up the ceilidh scene with their infectious rhythm and unapologetically queer energy.

Born out of their electrifying debut at Bristol Pride Ceilidh 2025 and organising ceilidhs for Greenbank Folk Club, Alex Garden (guitar), Rhiannon Takel (fiddle), and Will Bremner (accordion) combine years of musicianship with a shared love of making inclusive, accessible, joy-filled dance spaces.

Their sound is big, rowdy, and irresistibly danceable — tight tunes rise over driving guitar to accompany only the best hand-picked dances from their callers.
