Chloë Rose Laing, the Bristol based singer songwriter, is launching her much awaited new album 'BLAZING FIRE'

She will be performing with her exciting 7 piece live band featuring Mohamed Errebbaa on the traditional African Guembri, Jon Seagar (keys), Harry Collis (trumpet), Zac Harkavy (drums), Lee Hall (guitar) and James Storm (sax).

Expect a deeply soulful, melodic and uplifting fusion of roots, reggae and soul. Her new album explores a meeting point between contemporary soul music and African-rooted rhythm.

The evening will begin with poetry by the acclaimed Bristol City Poet Sukina Noor. Through poetry and presence her impactful words will set the tone of connection, reflection, rhythm and Spirit.

This will be followed by Chloë's heartfelt songs, shaped by years of lived experience and personal growth. With themes of struggle, fighting for social justice, and inner healing, she inspires you to transcend and find your own inner fire.

This is more than an album launch! It is a celebration of music, roots, culture and expression, bringing together live soul, reggae and R&B with African instrumentation and spoken word. Expect warm bass, hypnotic grooves, soulful melodies and Chloë’s expressive lyrics.

Chloë was raised in Cambridge and Wales. Her father is Neville Laing, frontman to the 1980's rock/reggae band HONDO, with whom she shares the gift of songwriting.
She has performed alongside international artists both abroad and in the UK for many years.
