See event details

A gig held at The Jam Jar on Wednesday 7th February. The event starts at 20:00.

Opportunities like this don't come along very often.

Roland Gift, the voice (& face) of 'Fine Young Cannibals' will be taking the stage joined by Dave Randall on guitar to deliver a raw and emotional set of original music & fan favourites.

Fine Young Cannibals emerged in the mid 80's achieving raucous success on both sides of the channel. Notable tracks include 'Johnny Come Home', 'Good Thing' and Number 1 hit 'She Drives Me Crazy'. Ultimately disbanding in 1996 after their final recording & release.

The proceeding years saw Gift focus on his acting career until an invitation to tour with Jools Holland in 2013 rekindled his interest in singing live. He has returned to the stage with rare festival performances & special one offs in recent years.

This will be Rolands first Bristol appearance in 7 years!

Joining Roland is Dave Randall, Bristol based guitarist. Best known for his guitar work with Faithless, having toured with them for 10 years, Randall has also worked along side the late, great Sinéad O'Connor & Dido.

All profits from this show will go to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF):
MSF, also known as Doctors Without Borders, is a charity that provides humanitarian medical care. It is a non-governmental organisation of French origin known for its projects in conflict zones and in countries affected by endemic diseases.

Make sure you get your ticket now to avoid disappointment.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions (under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 21yrs, 1:1 ratio)
