Fat City Boat Party W/ Hélélé SOLD OUT at John Sebastian Lightship

A gig on Friday 25th November. The event starts at 19:30.

Fat City return with one of their signature boat parties; this time brimming with the infectious West African dance music of local Bristol band Hélélé, supported by the soulful tones of Georgia Rey, all on top of Fat City's usual sack of global funk, soul, latin, jazz and disco tunes.

Hosted on the historic 1885 Lightship John Sebastian, Fat City DJs will bring the party to this unique venue with an array of genre-shredding grooves and an infectious atmosphere to take you through to the early hours.

Led by Alphonse Daudet Touna on the balafon, percussion and vocals, Hélélé deliver searing afrobeat rhythms powered by the spirit of West African dance music. Renowned Bristol musicians Neil Smith (guitar), Greg White (drums), Ron Phelan (bass) and Dino Christodoulou (sax) complete the lineup to guarantee a night of dancefloor-laden groove at this one-off special event sending all profits to Bristol's Emergency Winter Fuel Fund.

Georgia Rey: 20:30-21:15

Hélélé: 21:30-22:30

Fat City DJs: 22:30-01:00
