En Masse 2025: The Bell Ensemble at KIT FORM
See event details

A event held at KIT FORM on Wednesday 8th October. The event starts at 12:00.

Bristol innovators Copper Sounds' fascination with the myriad forms of sonic vessels moved them to hone in on one of the most iconic resonating objects: the bronze bell. Their ongoing project merges 3D digital design and fabrication with traditional bronze casting; each new iteration developing at the hands of new collaborators. For En Masse 2025, The Bell Ensemble invites Sarahsson and Guest into the fold. Bells will be struck by chaotic metronomes unable to keep time, stainless steel sheets will resonate and amplify space, and sound will be transformed into light and back into sound.

The Bell Ensemble (Installation) is part of En Masse’s 2025 Community and Arts Programme. This free-to-attend programme aims to enhance access to creative opportunities in Bristol, empower a diverse range of individuals to pursue creative careers, and nurture Bristol’s independent arts ecosystem by making it more connected and resilient.
