----About the day-----
Sometimes. Often. Being alive now in Bristol 2025 feels like a lot: disconnection, alienation, too hot, too wet, random changes happening consistently, too complex, too little, too late. Switch on your phone to unimaginable violence. Where is the off switch?

Some say we live inside a story and are its characters. So who’s the writer? Can we tell them to “Switch this story up”?

THE STORY GATHERING is an interactive one-day festival of collective storytelling, music, workshops, talks and ceremony — with a hearty vegan lunch from local organic growers and hot teas throughout the day. Come to connect, create and celebrate the start of autumn with 50 curious humans in Bristol.

We’ll journey together through stories of place, belonging and action, exploring how we can rewrite the narrative we’re living.

-----Flow of the day-----
