held at Lakota
on Friday 24th November. The event starts at 22:00.
Lakota presents a night of UK garage exploring 130bpm, and beyond. Enter Danish producer DJ Main Phase who will be peddling his strain of UK garage alongside releases from his ATW Records label that he owns with dance music chart topper Interplanetary Criminal.
Fresh from inspiring the next gen of femme DJs, Sophia Violet of Girl’s Don’t Sync fame steps up with her expert selection of gritty underground dance music and garage anthems. Sophia’s joined on the billing by South Londoner Riz la Teef who comes armed with tracks from the origins of garage, UK funky and more.
This Friday we also welcome Leeds party starters Airspace and their CEOs Rana and Sacha who bring a driving mix of garage, drum and bass and jungle to proceedings.
After a belting summer of festivals and shows Fliss Mayo also touches down with some big deck NRG to showcase her take on uptempo sounds and basslines galore. Rius b2b JC Villain (Tell Me Where it Hertz) will also be on duty with their garage party starters.
We’re handing the Moon Club keys over to Bristol’s Hella. Hella releases on cult labels like North Quarter, Gutterfunk, Internal Sound and his own imprint Close Company with tracks that reflect the cutting edge underground sounds of the city. Hella is joined by a slew of excellent selectors: Charli Brix, Patrice, Benteki and Alex Already.
