Join female-led Dance-music organisation Lady of the House for an exciting Cultural Exhibition: Looking back and forward within Dance Music.
The day will commence with Queen of House, Barbara Tucker, and renowned music historian, Ian Snowball. This dynamic duo will delve into the legacy and historic significance of dance music, offering a unique perspective on its evolution.
Matt Annis, renowned music journalist and author, will lead an interactive session to discuss the art of researching and documenting music. The session will be supported by Miranda Rae, the UK's 1st full time female radio presenters who pioneered dance music on the radio.
Coming back to the present moment, four local and accomplished women will share their journeys and the challenges they overcame to reach their current positions.
