Lengoland is the leading community for UK Bass producers, DJs and aficionados - with their facebook group having over 15,000 active members.

Bassboy: Birmingham’s best kept secret has produced some of the biggest tracks in bassline history and has worked with a whole host of vocal talent including Trilla, kozzie, autumn rowe & the legendary MC Skepta. Recently he’s been trying his hand at some 4×4 garage and the results are truly phenomenal (especially his edits of R&B gems we all remember as young’uns). His heavy basslines and ear for infectious, off-kilter drum grooves have seen him frequently featured on Tumble Audio and Various other lineups

Sammy Virji: Sammy Virji hasn’t been on the scene for long but he has firmly imprinted his distinctive sound into the bass industry. With early support from TQD, TS7 and many more, he has landed himself regular DJ sets at renowned clubs and events across the country including Tank, Sheffield as well as his residency at World Headquarters, Newcastle. He has had releases with Chip Butty Records and 3000 Bass that have gained nothing but positivity and Sammy is only set to grow bigger in the coming months.

Hatcha: Hatcha’s roots seep deep back into late ‘90s UK garage, Croydon and pirate radio. Originally the buyer at the now defunct Big Apple record shop, Hatcha was one of the very first DJs to pick up on the new dark strains of 2step that were being made by local producers like El-B, Artwork and Horsepower at the turn of the millennium. As the producers came into the shop to sell white labels of these niche new sounds, a community arose. The shop began its own label, Big Apple Records and its first release was the dubstep classic “Red” by the shop’s resident producer Artwork. The next releases came from his two protégés, Benga and Skream.
