AKA and 64zoo join forces for their debut collaboration - leading Lakota into unchartered waters...
ROOM 1: [THE DEEP]
Dive deep into the heart of Lakota's main room, our exploration led by no other than Irish superstar Or:la and her very own 'Deep Sea Frequency' label. Expect all things aquatic to dominate the dance floor; inflatables, fishing nets, snorkels and even lilos for the laziest of dancers. Or:la's vast, eclectic mix of music is set to submerge the crowd into an aquatic odyssey of warped atmospheric house, brimming with breaks and raw acid melodies. Warming up the main room's Deep Sea Frequency's, is no other than UK hotshot and Feel My Bicep collaborate - Brassica. We can't wait to have the pair on board.
ROOM 2: [ATLANTIS]
Embark up the stairs, and enter the world of Atlantis. James Dyer captains the legendary island, and his immaculate deployment of Disco Halal infused, Andrew Weatherall-esque chuggers offers the perfect place for those who want to get their hands a little dirty, and really get their feet wet.
ROOM 3: [THE BLUE LAGOON]
Room three sees the Moon Club morphed into 'Lagoon's Lagoon'. Expect a room drowned in pumping classics and catchy melodies.
Wednesday 13th March

ARTIST 001 - OR:LA [Deep Sea Frequency]
Or:la's story has followed a different trajectory to most. Her avid fascination of collecting old electronic records soon side tracked her media production degree and paved the way for what was to come. After a string of successive releases on popular label, Hotflush, 2017 saw the birth of vinyl-only imprint 'Deep Sea Frequency', co-founded by Or:la which has since released an eclectic mix of EPs from the likes of Pépe, DJ Seinfeld and herself. A vast knowledge of various genres and tempos is what separates Or:la from many other young DJ's at the moment; aptly summed up by Thump as "One of the most underrated DJs on the UK circuit at the moment". Or:la’s sound channels a nostalgic broken beat vibe, spanning chuggy acid numbers to skippy percussive sounds and more techno-leaning four to the floor. Or:la's growing success as a dynamic producer and genre-spanning selector has, in 2017 alone, seen her gain a residency at the Warehouse Project in Manchester, a bimonthly show on NTS Radio and win DJ Mag's 'Breakthrough DJ of the year'.
ARTIST 002 - BRASSICA [Feel My Bicep]
Brassica’s music distills a storied musical past; capturing Balearic house, real electro, Italo disco, new wave, psych, synth music, techno and rave nostalgia, without sounding consigned to any particular part of it. This sets his music apart and has earned him an enviable list of supporters including Bicep, DJ Harvey, Maceo Plex, Trevor Jackson, Henry Saiz, Andrew Weatherall and Erol Alkan. Brassica's attention to detail and desire for constant innovation, combined with his encyclopaedic musical references and technical brilliance make Brassica’s records, remixes and live performances thrilling and unique, earning him a pivotal spot amongst the 'Feel My Bicep' label and it is why he's is already a favourite's favourite and why he should be one of your favourites too.
ARTIST 003 - JAMES DYER
With a penchant for the balearic oddities of golden era Ibiza and tribal rhythms, James Dyer has become a firm Bristol favourite and regular DJ heard across the city, and his esoteric selections have matured through years and years of digging. Although summer may be a distant dream right now, we can be thankful for the sunkissed inclinations of James Dyer all year round.
