We're back and very excited to bring to you our special guests Colorau Som Sistema all the way from Portugal.
Colorau Som Sistema is a DJ duo that started in 2011 with the world music radio show "Artesanato Sonoro" (literally translates from Portuguese as "Sonic Crafts") on Radio Universidade de Coimbra, in Portugal. Off the back of this, the pair decided to establish a sound system to do what they like most: sharing music that makes them dance from the whole world over.
Since then, the duo have shared stages with projects/artists such as Skipe and Die, Trilok Gurtu, Lura, Meta Meta and played several festivals and events such as Sons em Trânsito Festival, Rádio Faneca Festival, London's Festival 4 x 3, Bairro Intendente em Festa, Festival Folknova amongst others.
Having held a residency at the amazing Espaço Compasso in Porto, Colorau Som Sistema have focused their recent activities between Lisbon, Aveiro and London.
Expect plenty of Lusophone treats and booty shaking beats from all over the globe!
All tribes, creeds, ages and ideals welcome. Bring your dancing shoes, this one's gonna be HOT HOT HOT!
For all you keen beans, The Leftbank also have Happy Hour between 8pm and 9pm. £2.50 on all pints and selected spirit and mixers to limber you up and get you in the dancing mood!
