Formed from members of psychedelic reggae band Jalandhar and DIY noise outfit Whitlow, Konketsu, meaning "mixed blood", are a melting pot in name, sound and personnel.
Fusing R&B, psychedelic soul, jazz and progressive rock, Konketsu are a dual-fronted exercise in exploration, blending intricate, layered and hypnotic groove music with a melodic, atmospheric anchor.
