Dub Boy aka Tim 'Dub Boy' Rayner is the man behind Bristol’s seminal Ruffnek Diskotek parties, Dub Boy has spent the last 15 years pushing his own distinctive blend of Caribbean carnival and UK rave sounds around the UK and beyond.

From the early days of Dubstep back in 2004, Dub Boy has been at the forefront of Bristol’s underground, helping establish sounds such as Bashment, UK Funky, Afrobeat and Soca firmly at the forefront of the cities ever amazing music scene.

Releases on labels including Idle Hands, Punch Drunk Music and Boom Sound have further cemented his influential legacy. With one foot in carnival and another in the rave, Dub Boy seamlessly merges various musical traditions and cultures into pure party vibes.

Dub Boy continues to be as busy as ever regularly playing club shows up and down the UK and regularly appearing at festivals including Womad, Glastonbury & Boomtown. He is also part of the Tun Up! and World Famous Soca Jungle Soundclash collectives, and co-hosts a weekly soca show on the Ujima 98fm radio station.
