Bristol based Jonny Bruce is one of the most in demand trumpet players in the UK. Working as both a soloist and a lead player in a variety of musical contexts, Jonny has received much critical acclaim for his fiery trumpet work.
From Fred Wesley and Pee Wee Ellis to Kelis and Illa J, his trumpet has seen him perform and record internationally with many greats from a variety of genres.
Though there are loads of Bristol jazz, swing and Latin projects that feature Jonny’s dazzling trumpet, it’s with this trio he gets to play exactly what he wants. Expect some seriously hot playing with many a nod to the great jazz horn blowers that have inspired him.
