A
event
held at L'Étoile Studio
on Saturday 20th September. The event starts at 17:30.
Join us for a vibrant celebration of the summer harvest festival, where we explore its rich symbols and traditions through hands-on crafting of traditional home decor from locally sourced straw, dried grass, flowers, and herbs. This inspiring event invites participants to meditate on their intentions for the winter season while creating meaningful artifacts that honor folklore and seasonal change, blending artistic expression with cultural reflection in a unique and engaging experience.
As we work together, we will take a moment to meditate on what we wish to invite into our lives for the coming winter—setting intentions and embracing the cycle of nature through mindful reflection.
Mabon is a pagan festival celebrating the Autumn Equinox, is a time for giving thanks for the harvest and seeking blessings from gods and goddesses for a bountiful winter. Ancient Celts, pagans, and neopagans observed this day with gratitude for nature’s abundance. The celebration often involves crafting traditional decorations, like dolls, using materials such as straw, dried grass, flowers, and herbs. It’s also a time for reflection, focusing on intentions for the coming winter.
