Beginning 2019 in much the same fashion as the last, we’re back bringing you some of the best names in the game, and our maiden voyage at The Loco Klub is no exception.
We’re super happy to announce that we have the ever great Danny Wolfers, aka Legowelt performing for us. Known for his wizardry in the studio, and on the dancefloors, Legowelt will be bringing his brilliant live show for us from the Netherlands. A man known for his many different aliases, and remarkable discography, expect some of the best sonic goodness for your ears.
Support for Legowelt for the evening comes in the form of local deejays: DJ October and Gallegos.
DJ October has been releasing and mixing music since the early noughties, putting out dozens of techno, acid and experimental records on labels such as Tempa, Soul People Music and his own self-titled label. There's also been new material recently released on the excellent Honey Soundsystem. After catching a few of his sets over the years at Just Jack - House Music, we didn't have to think twice in getting him on the decks.
Gallegos plies his trade with the excellent Shapes party in Bristol, and he’s deejayed with some of the best in the business. In the past few months, he’s released on local favourites Banoffee Pies Records. His EP ‘Mad As Hell’ has gained support from artists such as Moxie and FYI Chris. He’ll be warming up the dancefloor perfectly before the big man Legowelt steps up.
