That's What She Said is "feminism at its ruthless best." - (Blouinart), "the biggest spoken word night in London for women" (Evening Standard) and was shortlisted for Best Spoken Word Night in the UK (Saboteur Awards).

Expect fierce, fabulous, feminist spoken word, hosted by DIY punk poet, Bridget Hart. As always, we'll be showcasing the best new writing and performance by womxn and non-binary writers, featuring iconic and emerging authors with a mix of performance, poetry, storytelling, slam and more.

Lisa Luxx (@lisaluxx_) is a queer writer, performer, essayist and activist of British Syrian heritage. Published in journals, newspapers and anthologies internationally, she has also been broadcast on channels such as BBC Radio 4, VICE TV, TEDx, and ITV. One of Diva Magazine's ‘top four poets to look out for’. Luxx was winner of the Out-Spoken Prize for Performance Poetry 2018 and nominee for the Arts Foundation Fellowship in Poetry.
TINA SELDERHOLM (@tina_sederholm) aged 5, wanted to be a dog trainer/Eurovision Song Contest winner. Aged 12, she wanted to be an actor/comic novelist. Aged 17, a Goth/International Event Rider. Today she is a performance poet, creator of four solo theatre shows, a veteran of six Edinburgh Fringes, winner of more than twenty slams and has published six books. Currently, when she is not scouring dog rescue sites or practising being lazy, she is on tour with her critically acclaimed show, Everything Wrong With You Is Beautiful. ‘Stunning’ ***** Three Weeks

EVE PIPER is a Manchester bred emerging poet sinking her roots into Bristol ground. She was specially selected to take part in the Words First project run by BBC 1Xtra and the Roundhouse, wherein she was mentored by Chris Redmond (Tongue Fu) and Harry Baker. She has performed all around Bristol, including at the Tobacco Factory Theatres, supporting Hollie McNish. During her time at the University of Bristol she has been president of the Spoken Word Society, facilitating writing and performance workshops and twice taking a team to UniSlam. Drawing influence from Drum & Bass MCs to John Donne, her poetry tends to trace the conflicting emotions of young womanhood, relaying urban narratives with a zealous approach.
