We’re thrilled to welcome a stellar lineup of genre-defining artists, featuring a live set from one of the greats of dub reggae @madprofessor, alongside a DJ set from Bristol’s boundary-breaking bass producer @om_unit.
UK dubwise champion Mad Professor, is making his return to Bristol for NYE! Renowned for his collaborations with legends like Lee “Scratch” Perry, Massive Attack, and Channel One Sound System, he’s been a driving force in dub reggae’s second generation. Now, we are proud to announce that Mad Professor will be bringing his plethora of self-built mixing desks, drum machines and dub sirens to Loco Klub for his legendary live dub set.
Additionally, we have Bristol’s own 160 pioneer Om Unit. His boundless approach to dance music has made him a trailblazer across multiple genres, seeing releases at Martyn's 3024 and Tom Lea's Local Action. We are also inviting a range of Bristol’s local legends to warm up the evening and a massive soundsystem takeover in Room 2.
As we close out our winter season, we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you.
