Gardna takes the reins for us at Lost Horizon HQ, and joining him on the bill is recent collaborator Catching Cairo, local hero Charli Brix, and dancehall purveyors Fat Stash. Expect a multitude of vibes, and a multitude of genres. On the night, the crew will be jumping between Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, Jungle….and just about everything else.
Gardna is a Bristol-based artist, who has achieved success thanks to his genre defying approach to recording and his energy driven live performances. From MC and songwriter, to prolific collaborator, host and promoter, the lifelong good vibes ambassador fuses elements from across the sound system spectrum, to conjure up his own unique rhythmic blends, which channel Bristol’s rich musical heritage and earn him critical praise across the board.
Descending from north London, Catching Cairo brings introspective lyrics and lucid, British, sultry vocals to her collections. Catching Cairo began making waves in the electronic circuit through songwriting and collaborating with many artists and scoring credible releases as seen in her work with Hybrid Minds (Touch and Supernova), her most recent collaboration with Mungos Hi-Fi & Gardna.
Charli sits comfortably among some of the most well-known voices in drum & bass; Brix’s repertoire includes collaborations with Gardna, Mungo's Hi-Fi, Coki, Enei, DJ Marky, Nu:Tone & more. Expect a warm soulful fusion Drum & Bass, Hip-Hop and R&B.
Bristol natives and omnipresent on the UK Reggae / Dancehall scene, the Fat Stash lads never cease to crank a party up to maximum with their unrivalled energy and roots-inspired sound. Fast beats and heavy bass will be the order of the evening.
