Underground sensation, Afriquoi, is making a long awaited return to Bristol, and will be topping the bill with a masterful 6-piece live show. Bringing the back-up will be iconic Pidgin Rapper, Magugu, and the ever-exciting and eclectic DJ, Ru Robinson.

Afriquoi
Afriquoi is an underground sensation, bringing an uplifting fusion of African music and live electronics. The masterful 6-piece live show combines Gambian kora, Congolese guitar and Mandinka percussion styles with electronic music drawing on House, Soca, Hip-Hop, Soul and Jungle to create something entirely unique.

Magugu
Magugu’s mission is to connect African and western culture together with his Pidgin Rap style (a local dialect in Nigeria consisting of broken English and local slang). Known for his iconic and distinctive vocal tone, Magugu is a native Nigerian based in the U.K, making waves in the underground scene with support from Giles Peterson (BBC 6 Music, Worldwide FM) and Toddla T (BBC Radio 1).
Ru Robinson
Ru Robinson is known for exciting and eclectic DJ sets served up with an infectious smile. His broad collection of music is lovingly selected for the dance floor, spanning the diverse tropical flavours of Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean, whilst dipping and delving into countless other party sounds
