LINE UP
DELiRIUM
Starting a night to showcase the incredible talent of women and non-binary artists has been a dream of DELiRIUM’s for a while. They came out in the London drag scene which was a very liberating place for them, inspiring them to create empowering spaces for others.
Being socialised female or being a femme presenting person can distill into us internalised misogyny and fighting; unlearning this is something that DELiRIUM is very passionate about. The way society teaches women to fear or mistrust other women is a way of keeping everyone isolated and disempowered. So, having spaces where we can exist in our differing gender identities but still stand united in support and celebration of each other can act as an antidote to this. And, of course, a cute little way of saying fuck you to the patriarchy!
TRY ME
Try Me is a genre non-conforming girl-boy duo comprised of Hector Boogieman and Bendy Wendy. Their style is best described as alt pop, combining funky bass-lines with catchy vocal hooks and an electronic underbelly - think Gorillaz but a bit gay. Lyrically, they often play with conventions around gender and sexuality. The result leaves you giggling at norms and feeling a little more free in everyday life.
Their latest release was chosen by Jack Saunders as Track of the Week on BBC Radio 1. They also have a collaboration with Axel Boy that premiered on UKF, currently over 900,000 streams. Their Tik Tok has amassed over 100,000 likes and over 1 million views, most of which have been a result of their DIY music video ‘Heavy Lunch’. They have had sold out shows in Bristol, headlined for House of Savalon, and have performed alongside Lynks, Bears in Trees, Grove, Peaness, Panic Shack, Grandmas House and others. They performed at Bristol Pride Festival 2022.
DOMINIQUE FLEEK
eady to take on 2023 with her signature ‘sass, ass and not very much class’ performances. She might give you vocals, or maybe instead eat up a classic rapstress lip sync. Either way, be ready for a show and then some from Bristols resident doll, Dominique Fleek.
KITTEN
We've got a perfect Valentines gift. A Kitten!
She's back at Femmegedon and is bringing the high energy, saucyness you love her for! This will be Kitten's first performance with us, and can't wait to see her strut her stuff!
ERNEST
Ernest is your typical posh boy - government job and all. But this one has a secret: he’s got a huge penchant for partying with the queers! Despite being told to stop with all the scandals, he’s back on stage to embrace his earnest self and shake everything daddy gave him! After all, it’s important to be Ernest!
ELEKTRA DUBOIR
What an honour it is to have the gorgeous auntie of House of Savalon come play with us again!
This gorgeous femme fatale is an incredible artist in her own right and known for her high production performance pieces, seductive choreo and incredible story telling through immersive art.
Accompanied by the Femme Fatale group, she is glamour, she is power, she is the baddest bitch around!
...And a DJ set from TIGER BLONDE
Tiger Blonde is a multi genre dj that blends tasteful beats so there’s something for everyone, they/thems and everything in-between. She’s been making a stir in the bristol queer free rave scene and played at multiple venues across Bristol city.
Her mixes usually consist of Drum and Bass, Jungle, Speed-Garage, Bassline, Techno/ House and anything femininely empowering.
