Hot Buttered Soul is the creation of record collector and DJ Mike Shawe. His events embody a broad spectrum of multi-genre, danceable music from 70s Funk and Disco, 80s Boogie, Modern Soul, Jazz Funk and House with an eye for lesser-known jams, new edits and releases taking inspiration from the pioneers and greats of black music.
