Mosaic Making Workshop at Lost Horizon
Pay what you can, or free for those on low/no income.

A event held at Lost Horizon on Saturday 20th November. The event starts at 12:00.

Learn how to mosaic with a message! Community - what matters most? This communal artwork will be a visual representation of our collective voices, unifying our thoughts as one. The finished piece will be installed temporarily in our Lost Horizon venue until it finds a permanent home within the community.

What to bring
Small objects that signify what your community means to you. These could be used to spell something out, such as scrabble tiles and broken crockery, or could be one piece that has an attached personal meaning. These will be set into the art piece, so will form part of the overall design.

Bio
Carrie is a self-titled craftivist who works from a mosaic-covered HQ, The Treatment Rooms in West London. Her work blurs the boundaries between craft and activism, using the craft techniques of mural, mosaic and screen-printing to create intricate, highly politicised works of art.
