Twende & Wildtune present: PCHA at Lost Horizon
Headfirst Editor's Pick

"Unmissable UK debut from the Malian vocalist and balafon star! PCHA takes the traditional West African instrument and blends it with melodic afrobeats, rap and pop; catch him performing alongside virtuosic percussionist Seydou Kienou plus plenty of amapiano, percussive club, baile funk and bass heat from Inda Flo, Sio and more."

A clubnight held at Lost Horizon on Saturday 22nd November. The event starts at 23:00.

African musicians x underground club DJs, live percussion, and the UK debut of Mali’s rising Afrobeats & balafon star PCHA!

We're back for the next event in our Afro electronic series bringing together live African musicians and underground club DJs for a dancefloor igniting collaboration of music and cultures.

This time we have Mali’s rising Afrobeats and balafon star Pcha. Coming from a long line of master balafon players, Pcha is determined to preserve the tradition of the balafon, fusing the sounds with modern Afrobeats, hip hop and pop rhythms putting his own spin on this ancient tradition to reach new audiences, mixing together the ancient and new sounds of Mali.

Virtuoso West African percussionist Seydou Kienou will perform alongside Pcha and also fuse his high-octane Mande rhythms with Inda Flo's bass stomping percussive mother beat lighting up the dancefloor with an exchange of musical ideas!

DJ, radio host, and promoter Inda Flo electrifies the underground club scene with a global fusion of bass, percussive club, ethno-techno, and electronic sounds. Her high-energy sets blend rhythms and melodies from Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Caribbean into euphoric, borderless bangers.

Cheza Lucina is a dynamic artist and DJ fusing Afro, Caribbean, and Latinx sounds with UK underground bass — from jungle and dubstep to garage and funky house — in their signature Jungle Soca style. Founder of BUMPAH and co-producer of Popola UK and Felt Sound System, they’ve lit up stages from Glastonbury to St. Vincent, bringing carnival energy and global bass to every set.

SIO is a multi-genre DJ whose fresh selections keep the dance floor moving. Each set journeys through bass, bounce, drums, and global sounds, touching on Afrohouse, Baile Funk, Future Beats, UKG, edits, and timeless hits.

Zinha’s sets honour the rhythms and roots of the Afro-Latin world, blending Cape Verdean Funaná, Angolan Kuduro, Senegalese Soukous, and Congolese Merengue into a vibrant fusion of sound. Global grooves guaranteed to make you move!
