We’re all about good quality Liquid, proper rollers, late 90’s. deeper, soulful & underground D&B sounds! We want to draw a friendly diverse crowd who are proper up for the dance!

For this session we’ve assembled a line-up featuring an absolute legend of Drum & Bass culture, someone who for us is hands-down one of the baddest long-established DnB DJs around. Our other special guest on this night is an American producer from Holland who is on absolute fire right now, and the line-up is nicely rounded off by some excellent emerging and experienced local Bristol artists.

Presenting: BAILEY

Our headliner is one of those 'DJs DJs’ …Few DJs can claim to be an original architect of the Drum & Bass scene and still be operating at the cutting edge more than 25 years later, but DJ Bailey is one of them. A resident Metalheadz DJ, co-founder of 'Soul In Motion’ former 1Xtra Presenter and now Kool FM Presenter, Serato resident artist… Bailey’s sets today are as full of fresh and innovative music as they were in 1995 when Kemistry & Storm recruited him for Goldie’ s now-legendary Blue Note Sunday Sessions!!

Whether in a club, on radio or online, Bailey’s commitment to shining a light on exciting new
musical talent is beyond question. With turntable & selection skills second-to-none, Bailey is
an alchemist in the mix!! His ability to adapt to any crowd in any environment justifies his reputation as one of the finest DJs in the scene. From the most menacing of heavy sounds to the most smooth liquid of funk, Bailey’s unparalleled knowledge and love of D&B shines through in every electrifying set, gaining him the respect and admiration of audiences from Australia to Japan to Canada and right across Europe.

We’re really excited to welcome Greg aka Submorphics over from Amsterdam as he’s one of our favourite ‘Liquid’ producers of recent years who is genuinely on an incredible roll right now.

Submorphics has made his name with soul drenched, deep, emotive, nostalgic yet forward thinking music. Over the last decade his tracks have earned him admiration from fans, DJs and music lovers alike! Signed to ‘The North Quarter’ and putting out a steady stream of top releases on his own ‘Rosebay Music’ check out his latest stuff and get to know!

EPHYRA:

We’re happy to announce Ephyra as one of our first regular on-rotation Slippin’ residents! Bristol based producer and DJ, she shelled it down with a well constructed set of quality, forward thinking Liquid and deeper Drum & Bass styles at our last event. so Her emotive high quality productions and selections will set the vibe at Lost Horizon for all of you who haven’t caught on to her yet!

MC BLUEJAY:

We’re glad to add an MC / host to one of our sessions! Bluejay has held it down with his presence, distinct voice, timing and microphone skills over countless legends of the scene and has been a regular at several Bristol nights including the legendary Optimyistc & Friends, Truth Hertz and Sofa Sound!

NATHAN WORM:

A DJ and selector of 17+ years, Slippin’ resident will be opening the night with some late-nineties atmospheric DnB / Jungle vibes this time around. All those who love that sound, get along early to slide into the night!
