Get ready for a rootsy afternoon of heavyweight sound, warm vibes and community spirit as Pressure Promotions brings you Soul Shakedown, a reggae day party dedicated to dubwise vibrations and grassroots culture.
We are taking over Lost Horizon Yard Bar on Saturday 9 August, running from 3 pm to 9 pm with a hand picked line up of selectors and a handbuilt Sound System to keep your feet moving and your soul lifted. Expect everything from roots reggae and conscious dub to deep cuts and steppas, all played with love and intention. A real shakedown to keep your souls lifted.
At the heart of Pressure Promotions is our mission to create inclusive and accessible spaces where everyone feels welcome.
This includes step free access, gender neutral toilets, a chill out and low sensory space, clear event information shared in advance and floor markings to support navigation. We also centre emerging talent and underrepresented DJs alongside grassroots heads, giving new artists a real platform to play out and grow.

Ites Vibration Ites Vibration Bio Hailing from Brighton, Ites Vibration is a selector, operator, MC, and singer-songwriter known for her vibrant energy, deep roots reggae selections, and dynamic mic presence. From Portugal to Thailand and Vietnam, she has brought her sound worldwide, sharing joyful vibes on dancefloors at venues like Hootananny (London), Kuumba Centre (Bristol), and festivals including Boomtown, H.I.M Dub (Portugal), and Leeds Carnival. Recognised by Channel One Sound System as a standout talent, she was shortlisted in their Academy competition, marking her as one to watch among the next generation of selectors and MCs. Her vinyl sets take audiences on a compelling journey through uplifting roots, dub, and ’90s steppers, driven by heavyweight sounds, exclusives, and fresh releases. She brings crowds to life with raw analogue effects, deep bass pressure, and an infectious skanking presence that keeps the vibe moving. On the mic, her conscious singing and chants keep audiences locked in, weaving in mystical influences from her Turkish heritage - echoed in her vocal releases, as played by Don Letts on BBC Radio 6. A longtime radio host, she runs a monthly show and curates the events ‘Ites Vibration & Friends’, bringing roots reggae and positive upliftment to Brighton’s seafront. She is also the co-founder of Higher, a conscious roots reggae vinyl label series with producer Bukkha, showcasing their collaborative works.

Born out of local community parties, fused together with a passion for roots & culture. Ramsham has been powering events across the south west for the past 5 years. Stringing up their hand built speaker boxes, reinforced with heavy weight amplifiers; get ready for a tuff selection of the finest roots, reggae & dub.

Em Pressure B2B Fabes

Born and bred (and right proud of it!) In the fine city of Norwich, Em is a resident DJ and organiser with the heavyweight sound system collective Dub, Sweat & Beers. Since moving to Bristol she now makes waves through her grassroots project Pressure Promotions.
In this set joining together for the first time with the Bristol dub veteran Fabes. Sharing a similar sound of bass-heavy steppas, soulful dub, and rhythms to get your feet moving, this collab just made sense! They aim to get you skanking and shaking off your troubles. Championing fresh cuts, timeless classics, and unreleased dubs. Play it loud.
