Pint Sized Punk is a monthly printed zine run by the young Arlo, arguably Bristol’s youngest and fondest fan, of Bristol’s thriving live music scene. Lost Horizon HQ asked him to curate a line up of his favourite bands so he went ahead and invited Frauds, a noisy punk’ish two piece and the fuzzy, punky, family affair that is Milos Planes.
Frauds
Frauds are two piece post-hardcore band from Croydon, London-ish. Playing music in your punt cunk (we’re not sure what that means but we like it!). Their sound brutally blends an influence of Mclusky, The Jesus Lizard and Tom Waits. Chris and Mike’s bond is deep, and their enjoyment of what they do is truly captivating.
Milos Planes
Milo’s Planes was formed by brothers Joe and Harry Sherrin, and they flirt with a range of styles, imbuing their sound with everything from Emo to Math-Rock and Fuzz. Underpinned by the will to experiment and the fervent energy of acts like Fugazi, the band have their heart firmly within the punk ecosystem, a connection made clear on 2017’s Individual Development Plan.
