On the 23rd of November, Bristol has the pleasure of welcoming down esteemed writer, broadcaster and selector - Tina Edwards for the last Analogue Lounge of the year!
Whilst attending university to study music journalism, Edwards discovered a love for Jazz music after attending Soho’s infamous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz club. Now she has been championing the sound of UK Jazz through her radio shows and journalistic endeavors since 2014. Most notable of these being her 2022 documentary Jazz UK: Spitting Fire where she takes an in depth look at everything the contemporary UK Jazz scene has to offer.
Edwards has been a resident on Worldwide FM for the past 5 years where she has refined her selection. Her sets now include everything from modern jazz dance floor burners, unearthed and obscure 90s acid jazz to afro-driven rhythms from across the world.
As always there will be an open and close set from the Barkery residents, followed by an open jam from SpaceJams. This jam is BYOI and will embrace the flavors of Samba, Jazz, Hip Hop and Reggae.
