***CROTCH IS COMING TO LOST HORIZONS***

After a successful re-launch at Llandoger Trow, CROTCH comes to Lost Horizon for one week only with a late time party. Featuring our resident DJ's DJ Emmy and Princess Koko, a JUICY headliner and art installations commenting on the queer/femme experience of Bristol's nightlife. CROTCH is a queer/femme night encouraging self development and exploration, acceptance and love. This collaboration between the queer communities is an action of support for PHATBristol's Queer security company launch.

Renowned for iconic, queer throw downs Queer House Party is a DJ collective, community platform and award-winning LGBTIQ+ party that brings you the best drag, performers, and DJs from London and beyond. After years of DJing and throwing parties across the country; housemates, activists, and community organisers Harry Gay, Wacha and Passer came together on the first Friday of lockdown to throw an online party to give queers across the globe a sense of release and community whilst in isolation. A year on from their first party on the eve of lockdown, they've built a substantial online following and have pioneered a new form of radical, accessible party that can be joined IRL or online.

Queer House Party has collaborated with and thrown parties for Cybertease, Drag Syndrome, Quiplash, Bricks, the Barbican, BFI, the V&A and Gendered Intelligence, and they’re not stopping anytime soon.
Queer House Party keeps their politics and activism central to their events, creating a space that is not only accessible for the whole LGBTIQ+ community, but puts issues they care about to the front. They use their collective to draw attention to injustice, throwing events in solidarity with groups such as Sisters Uncut, Black Lives Matter and United Strippers of the World.

Mostly, they think raving and kicking off go hand-in-hand, and they’re here to show you how.

As a response to our experience in Bristol's nightlife, PHATBristol are starting a QUEER /FEMME security company. This action from the queer/femme community is a response to the countless events we've been deprived of feeling safe by those employed to protect us. We want to see a security team that gains respect and trust through welfare, assertion and diplomacy rather than antagonistic belittling fear tactics and abuse of power that we face when we enter a venue. We have the right to feel that our safe spaces remain just that; safe, and work towards making ALL spaces feel that way, no matter the positioning of the sun. Our aim is to reclaim the club doors, dance floors and nights that HAVE TO keep people safe.

All profits from this night will go towards PHATBristol's QUEER SECURITY COMPANY. The cost of 1 person's training and certificates as well as uniform comes to £500.
