Headfirst Editor's Pick

"BPA hosts an important discussion exploring the criminal justice system’s abuse of the Terrorism Act to quash pro-Palestine voices and halt effective direct action against the ongoing genocide. On the panel: two founders of Palestine Action, David Miller (Palestine Declassified / formerly UoB) and the mother of one of the Filton 10."

A event on Sunday 15th December. The event starts at 14:30.

Samuel Corner, Hannah Davidson, Jordan Devlin, Charlotte Head, Leona Kamio, Madeleine Norman, William Plastow, Fatema Zainab Rajwani, Zoe Rogers and Ian Sanders; The names of the filton10, all in prison, all interrogated under the Terrorism Act but charged with non-terror offences.

Over the past year we have seen many journalists, pro Palestine activists and supporters suffer the consequences of speaking out against the Gaza holocaust as British counter-terrorism authorities intimidate and try to silence them. Working in partnership with prevent we are even seeing children labelled as ‘a threat’.

With our panel of speakers we will discuss the ‘terrorism act’ how it is being abused to intimidate the pro Palestine movement, to silence voices that highlight and call out the racist, genocidal regime carrying out acts of terrorism against Palestinians and now Lebanese, and what we can do to protect ourselves, our comrades and the pro Palestine movement here in the UK.

NOTE: Due to Zionist groups and individuals’ attempts to sabotage our events, the venue will be announced on the day of the event so please CHECK YOUR EMAIL REGULARLY AND CHECK YOUR JUNKMAIL.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!!
