The debut solo album of James ‘Jimbob’ Isaac (Taint, Hark). A meticulously crafted solo record in the truest sense, with Isaac writing and performing all instruments. Spirit Metal, Quantum Thrash, Metaphysical Post-sludgecore, call it what you will. Isaac has birthed a beast. A juggernaut of tectonic riffs, angular chugs, and sophisticated rhythmic onslaught. A dark night of the soul in stereo. Isaac's musical lineage and decades spent as main man in the bands Taint (Rise Above Records) and Hark (Season of Mist) have all informed and lead up to the creation of this album. ‘Self Induced Transcendental Annihilation’ is gnarly as hell, for fans of Converge, Unsane, Knut, Mastodon, Helmet, Keelhaul, Botch, Deadguy, Crowbar, Sepultura, and many more 90s/2000s hardcore/metalcore/mathcore luminaries.
Since the August (’23) release of the Silverburn album, the band has already played Arctangent festival 2023 (UK), followed by another prestigious slot at Soulcrusher festival (NL) as well as nationwide UK support slots with Mutoid Man and Conjurer. To follow they did a successful EU mini-tour with the legendary Deadguy at the end of 2023. In 2024 Silverburn opened select dates on the Crowbar UK tour. The band was then hand picked to join High on FIre as main support on their recent UK tour. Playing to sold out crowds each night and garnering excellent responses.
