ATOMIC AGGRESSOR (CHILE)
Atomic Aggressor emerged in 1985, originally experimenting with a blend of death metal, thrash, and hardcore punk. Following a period of line-up instability, original members Enrique Zúñiga (guitar) and Pato Leiva (drums) solidified the band's direction toward pure Death Metal in early 1988. The definitive early line-up was completed with the arrival of Alejandro Díaz (bass/vocals) and Jaime Moya (guitar).
Despite critical praise, constant fan support, and tangible interest from the legendary British label Peaceville Records, the inability to secure a permanent drummer, added to some personal issues, ultimately forced the band to split in 1992.
After a 15-year silence, Atomic Aggressor returned to the stage at the 2007 Chile Metal Fest. This reunited line-up featured Alejandro Díaz, Enrique Zúñiga, Pablo Clares, and Julio Bórquez on guitar. This reunion sparked a new era of activity, including the 2008 compilation Rise of the Ancient Ones and high-profile support slots for icons like Venom, Slayer, and Possessed.
In 2013, the band released the Blind Servants split (recorded by Felipe Jiménez) and the live album Live Ceremonial. They then focused on producing their long-awaited debut full-length album, “Sights of Suffering”, released in 2014. Extensive touring supported the album across Chile, Europe, and the United States.
Most recently, the band released the 2019 EP Invoking the Primal Chaos and has continued to tour across Chile, Latin America (including Peru, Colombia, and Mexico), and the US.
Atomic Aggressor is currently finalizing their sophomore album, slated for a 2026 release via Hells Headbangers Records.
ECTOVOID (USA)
Formed in 2010 as a trio in the obscure southern US, Ectovoid embarked on a morbid quest to unite bizarre black/death metal songwriting with raw aggression and unsettling lyrical musings into a dismal musical exploration into the bleakest corners of the mind and soul. Driven by unusual and unsettling riffs, textured and intense drumming, and darkly memorable vocals and hooks, Ectovoid’s music pays homage to the respected bands of yore while forging ahead with an innovative sound and identity independent of the various trends flowing in and out of the larger scene. Across two full-length albums and various other releases, the band has fiercely honed their craft, carving out a distinct identity in the broader death metal landscape while continuing to pursue higher plateaus of dark death metal artistry. This is their first time on EU/UK soil!
