WARRIOR POPE

Mostly droney slow doom/stoner, but bit of genre hopping, because its another dynamic change we can make to keep things interesting instead of going louder or quieter, kinda got bored with that. Mostly draw comparisons to Pink floyd and Tool, which I don't get at all, I was thinking more Khanate, Neurosis and Caricatures (band I was in with Sonance guys). Fairly curious as to what comparisons this will draw.

Warrior Pope has been my knock around drone project since Caricatures broke up (the other guys went on to form ANTA and Sonance), did one off gigs with pretty random collaborators. This incarnation came together when I started jamming with the drummer from an indy rock band The Tame, who was frustrated and wanted to be metal. Things got much more serious from there.
